Dressing atoms in an ultracold soup

http://ift.tt/eA8V8J Using lasers, US and Austrian physicists have coaxed atoms in an ultracold strontium gas into complex structures unlike any previously seen in nature. Researchers created 'Rydberg polarons' in a gas at least 1 million times colder than deep space.
