Risk of cholera epidemics estimated with new rule-book

http://ift.tt/eA8V8J Cholera has repeatedly traveled out of Asia to cause epidemics in Africa and Latin America, an international research team has found. Researchers studied outbreaks in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean from the last 60 years. The results of two studies in Science, present a new 'rule-book' to estimate the risk of different cholera strains causing an epidemic.
